How can I set prices for each release?

Control of Pricing

It is important to understand what you can and cannot change when it comes to the pricing of your release. All of the options you can select are suggestions for pricing, not the final price. The price may change automatically based on the region and time since release (older releases will typically drop in pricing).

Release pricing can only be adjusted on Google, Amazon, and iTunes. Not every retail partner allows for price changes. Further, streaming providers do not accept any pricing information.

When creating a release you can suggest a pricing tier for the partner's platform, but in the end the partners will have final control of the pricing for the release.

Unfortunately, not every partner allows for custom pricing. Every partner has their own set pricing to their customers and thus dictate what the pricing should be.

Issues: If your pricing is wildly overpriced or under priced such as $30 for a single, please create a ticket in our help desk so that we can look into correcting the issue.

Note: We will send your specified prices to the partners that accept them, but they have the option of overriding this & setting their own price.

Tip: Partners such as iTunes may set a higher price for singles that are longer than 10 minutes in length.

Pricing Table

Below is a table of estimated retail prices in USD for select vendors in the SymphonicMS.

These are not final prices, these are estimates based on wholesale pricing, your final pricing may vary based on variables like region & time since release.

Note: You cannot select a release pricing tier that would cause the wholesale price to exceed the aggregate price of the single tracks on that album if they were to be purchased separately.

Notes:
1. Available for releases with no more than 4 tracks. Also not available in some territories
2. Available for releases with 2-7 tracks.
3. Minimum tier if release has 1 track that is longer than 10 minutes. No more than 10 tracks allowed.
4. Not applicable to all territories. May be treated the same as Front One.
