What Is a Threshold?

A threshold is the amount of money (sales & royalties) you must make in order to be able to claim your revenue. This amount is agreed upon when you create your label or artist account. If you are under that amount (that is, if your sales and streaming royalties don't total what your contracted revenue threshold is) your royalties will carry over to the next reporting period and if over threshold at that time then you can claim payment.

Like many partners and distributors we have thresholds so that we do not have to send checks or transactions under than at least $50 dollars. Current thresholds are below.

Threshold for Artists, Record Labels, Managers:

(Pre-2018 Packages)

Artist Distribution
100% of royalties (Pay Per Release): $50

Label Distribution
Option 1: 70%  = $50
Option 2: 80%  = $75
Option 3: 90%  = $100
