What Is SoundCloud Whitelisting?

Content Identification

SoundCloud uses an automated content identification system to identify copyright material. This system is integrated into the upload process, so that any copyright material identified during upload can be blocked from appearing on the platform.

By whitelisting an account, you can ensure that those people who are authorized to upload your content – for example, your affiliated companies or PR agencies – can do so without that content repeatedly being blocked. In short, whitelisting your account will let you upload the music & video content that you own, and others will not be able to upload your content unless you whitelist their accounts as well.

We deliver a feed of music to SoundCloud when you select “SoundCloud ID” on the SymphonicMS and if the profile is not whitelisted any track uploaded through that feed will potentially create an issue with the individual not able to upload because their profile has not been whitelisted to upload that and/or any other works.
