What is Tencent? Can I have my music in Asian partners?

Tencent Holdings Limited (Chinese: 控股有限公司; pinyin: Téngxùn Kònggǔ Yǒuxiàn Gōngsī; literally means: "Soaring information"; SEHK700) is a Chinese investment holding company whose subsidiaries provide media, entertainment, internet and mobile phone value-added services and operate online advertising services in China.[3] Its headquarters are in Nanshan District, Shenzhen.

In our system, Tencent used to be labeled WaWaWa (wa3.cn), then later, R2G. They are a white label provider that run QQ Music, Kugou Music and a number of other Chinese specific music and media providers.

The Chinese market shows a tremendous amount of promise and is one of importance to us. We deliver content to Tencent but given that they are very selective, consider this to be a Curated White Label provider that only ingests content they feel will fit. Further, with Chinese censorship laws, anything that may contain profanity or content that the Chinese Government does not approve of, will not make it into there.

We are hopeful and working hard that content will be able to much more easily be available in Tencent and its subsidiaries, unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that every song or album will make it for some of the reasons stated here. We're continuing to focus on delivering content and working internally to ensure that as much of it as possible makes it onto their outlets.
